SU-25 attack aircraft from the CSTO airbase "Kant" struck at a conditional enemy.
- The summer of 2018 has been truly hot, but this does not hinder the pilots of the Russian airbase of the CSTO "Kant" from continuing their combat training, - the press service of the airbase stated.
One of the stages of combat training took place recently when SU-25 attack aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces, stationed at the airfield in the suburbs of Kant, attacked concentrations of personnel and equipment of the conditional enemy, which were concentrated at the "Edelweiss" training ground.
The enemy attack was carried out using standard means of destruction, such as unguided rocket munitions of the S-13 type, aviation bombs FAB-50, and the standard GSh-30 30mm aviation cannon. Strikes were delivered from various altitudes during both day and night.
Let us remind you that the combined Russian airbase of the CSTO "Kant" is part of the collective rapid deployment forces and participates in ensuring the security of the airspace of CSTO member states. The airbase is equipped with SU-25 attack aircraft and Mi-8 transport-combat helicopters.
