The championship for riders and jockeys from the Mediterranean and Black Sea countries took place at the racetrack in Moscow (Russia), which is also a stage of the World Cup.
According to the press service of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports, representatives from eight countries participated in the competition - Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Italy, Malta, Serbia, Ukraine, and France.
The jockey competition included one race at a distance of 2,000 meters. In this race, the rider from Kyrgyzstan, Toichubek Jusup uulu, took second place on the horse Dzhokhorzhash.
The champion was Russian jockey Alexander Chuguevets, and the bronze medal was won by Prod'khomm Paulin from France.
