The national team of the Kyrgyz Republic has set a new record in the world ranking of national teams, occupying the 75th position.
The national football team of Kyrgyzstan has become the best team of the month in the FIFA ranking for the second time in its history.
The updated version of the list was published today, April 12, on the official website of the International Federation of Football Associations.
The president awarded one million soms to the national team players for qualifying for the Asian Cup.
In March, the team, led by Alexander Krestinin, achieved two victories over the national teams of Myanmar (March 22) and India (March 27) and, for the first time in history, qualified for the final part of the Asian Cup 2019. And today, a record position in the FIFA ranking – 75! Previously, the historical mark was the 99th position (October 2016).

In the ranking of the best teams on the Asian continent, the Kyrgyzstan team is in 7th place. Among the CIS and Baltic countries, our team occupies the 3rd position, trailing only the teams of Ukraine (30) and Russia (66).
And the title of the best team of the month for jumping 40 positions also goes to the Kyrgyzstan team, notes the Football Federation.
The worst teams of the month were the national teams of Haiti (-23), Papua New Guinea (-21), and Nicaragua (-20).
