Friendly match between the national teams of Kyrgyzstan and Palestine - 1:1.
The match took place at the main sports arena - the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium, as part of the preparation for the 2019 Asian Cup, which will be held in January next year.
From the very beginning of the match, the Kyrgyz national team did not sit back in defense and opened the scoring in the second minute. The goal against the Palestinians was scored by team captain Mirlan Murzaev. Soon after, the player sustained an injury, and the head coach of the Kyrgyz team, Alexander Krestinin, had to make a forced substitution. In the first half, the Kyrgyz team had more ball possession; however, in the 39th minute, the guests managed to equalize. The score was leveled by Palestinian midfielder Oday Dabbagh. For the 19-year-old player, this match and goal marked his debut for the National Team of Palestine.
The second half was more intense. Until the final whistle, both teams played attacking football and created numerous dangerous moments. Each attack from the home team was accompanied by loud support from the fans, with the stands chanting "Kyrgyzstan!". There were also fans of the Palestinian team in the stadium, who actively encouraged their compatriots with songs and chants. However, the teams did not manage to delight the spectators with any more goals. The final score of the match was 1:1.
Let us remind you that the Kyrgyz national football team has qualified for the Asian Cup finals for the first time, which will start in Dubai (UAE) in January next year. According to the results of the draw, the Kyrgyz team will play in Group C with the national teams of South Korea, China, and the Philippines.
