Tourists can stay for free in 64 countries around the world

Hotels in different countries will host tourists for free

From November 18 to 24, hotels in various countries will participate in the World Barter Week promotion, during which hundreds of hotels around the world will offer guests accommodation "in exchange." This is reported by "Maestro – News."

Tourists will be able to stay at their chosen hotel without any payment, but in return, they will have to provide useful skills, goods, or services: these can include foreign language lessons, rare interior items, wall painting, etc.

For example, the Klong-muang-inn hotel in the Thai province of Krabi will host guests for free if they help with repairs on the premises. The guesthouse La Maison Blanche Aux Volets Bleus in the French town of Vannes is ready to offer accommodation with breakfast and free Wi-Fi in exchange for gardening work or translating their website into Spanish and Italian.

The World Barter Week promotion first took place in Italy on Sardinia in 2009. After 10 years, accommodation by barter for a week is now offered by 407 establishments in 64 countries around the world. More than two dozen of these hotels are located in Rome. This year, Southeast Asian countries have also joined the project: Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. Free accommodation will be provided by Bed & Breakfast hotels and guesthouses, as well as apartments.

Hotels in Italy, the USA, the UK, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Portugal, Turkey, Spain, Switzerland, and other countries are also participating in Barter Week.
