Jeenbekov is confident that the opening of the "Sheraton" will positively impact tourism
In Kyrgyzstan, the assets of investors and private property are reliably protected, and the state will provide full guarantees of protection. This was stated by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov at the Kyrgyz-Turkish forum.
The head of state noted that a number of large projects aimed at enhancing economic potential will be implemented in Kyrgyzstan.
In particular, transportation infrastructure is being improved, plans are in place to expand road and rail connections, develop the air transport market, and create trade and logistics hubs.
- We have projects for the construction of small large hydropower plants that may interest investors. There are many opportunities for joint project implementation in the tourism sector. The Kyrgyz side is ready to increase the export of environmentally friendly products, including meat, dried fruits, honey, nuts, and beans. State services are being transitioned to an electronic format. Considering Turkey's achievements in the field of information technology, I believe this will attract the interest of our Turkish friends, - said the president.
He urged forum participants to invest in the aforementioned sectors. As a successful example of Turkish capital investments, Jeenbekov cited the hotel with the well-known global brand "Sheraton," which was opened today in Bishkek.
- I am confident that this will positively affect the development of tourism in the country. We express our gratitude to our Turkish friends, Mr. Aydin Mystachoglu, for implementing this project. We wish you success in your activities aimed at strengthening friendship between the two countries, - said Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
For his part, the founder of Bishkek Park and Sheraton Bishkek Hotel, Aydin Mystachoglu, also thanked the president for his comprehensive support.
- The hotel occupies 25,000 square meters, has a congress hall that accommodates from 500 to a thousand people, a first-class restaurant, luxury rooms, and royal suites. We hope that the high-quality services we provide will serve as a great incentive for further investment, - noted Mystachoglu.
