Kyrgyzstan recognized by Russians as one of the best countries for vacation
This was reported by the OneTwoTrip service (a well-known online service for organizing travel, present in the markets of the Russian Federation, CIS countries, Europe, and the USA).
According to OneTwoTrip's research, the first three places in the top ten most sought-after countries in this regard were taken by Armenia, Italy, and Turkey. Russians are also actively traveling to Germany, Spain, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and France.
Previously, Georgia was in the top three, but after the cessation of direct air communication between Russia and this country, it dropped to fifth place.
The top ten also included Spain, Uzbekistan, Germany, Tajikistan, and France, while Moldova and Ukraine were removed.
It is worth noting that Kyrgyzstan has been successfully presenting its tourism potential at international specialized exhibitions for several years, including those held in Russia. The republic's exhibition was also represented at the 26th Moscow International Travel Exhibition "MITT-2019," which took place in March of this year in the capital of the Russian Federation. Our side was represented here by a delegation from the Department of Tourism of the Ministry of Culture, Information, and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as representatives from the Tourism Alliance and the Association of Resorts of the Kyrgyz Republic, several tour operators, boarding houses, and resorts.
- There was significant interest in Kyrgyzstan from the exhibition visitors, - reported the head of the delegation, the head of the organizational and legal work department of the mentioned department, Kunduz Beysheeva. - We introduced them to the country's tourist opportunities in the summer and winter periods, as well as its health and wellness complex. Brochures and informational materials about the natural features and recreational potential of the republic were quickly distributed. Active negotiations were held between domestic tour operators and their colleagues from Russia and other countries, joint projects with former partners were being developed, and connections with new ones were being established.
Particular interest was shown this year in ecological and mountain tourism, mountaineering in Kyrgyzstan, as well as the existing infrastructure in these areas and the prospects for its development.
