Finns are interested in attracting tourists to the Issyk-Kul region.

Finnish businessmen are interested in cooperating with Kyrgyzstan, particularly in individual tourism and fishing processes in the Issyk-Kul region. This was stated by the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Finland to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Mikko Kinnunen.
According to him, the Issyk-Kul region has all the opportunities for tourism development, but there are practically no conditions for the rest and entertainment of Finnish tourists.

Finnish businessmen Mr. Petri Numminen and Mr. Ari Makela noted that they are ready to establish cooperation in the business sector and take the first step in tourism activities. “Finns and residents of Scandinavian countries are interested in individual and family vacations with entertainment,” said Petri Numminen. “And on our part, we are ready to assist in the development of the region's infrastructure.”
