The Ministry of Internal Affairs has taken the necessary measures to ensure order and public safety at Lake Issyk-Kul during the tourist season, the press service of the law enforcement agency reported to "Vzglyad".
In the Issyk-Kul region, there are 244 resorts that can accommodate vacationers. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has deployed more than 1,800 employees and 700 volunteers to maintain law and order. Additionally, personnel from other regions have been assigned to the area to guard the resorts directly.
Furthermore, the Ministry has issued guidelines to its employees in all regions on working with foreign citizens, which include the contact information of consular representations of foreign states in Kyrgyzstan.
To ensure safety on the highways, the Road Patrol Service (DPS) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has set up posts on the roads from Kordai to Bishkek, from Manas Airport to Bishkek, and on the road to Issyk-Kul.
The Ministry emphasized that it is ready to ensure law and order and protect vacationers during the tourist season.
