Changes to the rules for transporting liquids, aerosols, and gels by passengers departing from Manas International Airport.

In addition to the standard aviation security measures established by ICAO document EB 2008/21, and in response to requests from airline representatives operating flights from Manas International Airport, changes have been made to the rules for transporting liquids, aerosols, and gels.

As of February 7, 2014, a ban has been imposed at Manas International Airport on carrying any types of liquids, containers, tubes, and other means of storing substances intended for personal hygiene, cosmetics, medications, as well as materials used in artistic activities (paints, primers, adhesives) in hand luggage.

The ban does not apply to baby food, breast milk, and medications that passengers require on a regular basis during the flight.

Prohibited liquids, aerosols, and gels cannot be carried in hand luggage (in the aircraft cabin) but may be transported in passengers' checked baggage.

OAO "Manas International Airport" requests that air passengers understand the increased security measures and arrive at the airport prepared in advance.
