Company History
Air Bishkek (formerly Kyrgyz Airways) was registered on February 7, 2007. In the early years of its operation, Air Bishkek provided its aircraft on lease to local airlines, including the national airline Kyrgyzstan.
Stages of Airline Growth:
On September 14, 2009, Air Bishkek performed its first regular flight on the Bishkek – Osh – Bishkek route;
On December 16, 2009, flights on the Bishkek – Moscow – Bishkek route began;
From January 24, 2010, flights from Osh on the Osh-Moscow – Osh route began;
From April 2011, flights on the Osh-Novosibirsk – Osh, Osh-Krasnoyarsk-Osh routes began;
From October 21, 2010, flights on the Osh-Irkutsk – Osh route began;
From March 7, 2011, flights on the Bishkek-Istanbul-Bishkek route began;
From June 24, 2011, flights on the Bishkek-Krasnoyarsk-Bishkek route began;
From July 14, 2011, flights on the Bishkek - Urumqi – Bishkek route began;
From July 16, 2011, flights on the Osh-St. Petersburg-Osh route began;

The airline's route network and transportation volumes are constantly growing.
Since its inception, the airline has transported over four hundred fifty thousand (468,727) passengers and one million three hundred thousand (1,382,696) kilograms of cargo.

Air Bishkek has made a significant breakthrough into the future in Kyrgyzstan, having a substantial impact on the development of air transport in the Kyrgyz Republic.
The company was the first in Kyrgyzstan to replenish its fleet with modern Western-made aircraft, such as the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737-300, which allowed for a qualitatively new level of passenger service.
The attitude of both the airline's employees and passengers towards the Airbus A320 is particularly reverent, as it is named after the legendary man, the talented and world-famous writer Chinghiz Aitmatov.
The fleet of Air Bishkek continues to grow – currently, 2 modern Airbus A-320 aircraft are based in Kyrgyzstan.

Airbus A320
The Airbus A320 meets all international flight safety requirements. The aircraft and its components are made using modern technologies and materials, produced by the same companies that are involved in the production of European rockets and space satellites.
The Airbus A320 is one of the best medium-range aircraft in the world. The liner has a fundamentally new design, with elements of the latest developments and technologies. The aircraft meets all requirements for flights to any point in the world:
The Airbus A320 features a spacious passenger cabin, with comfortable seats designed with human anatomy in mind. They are lightweight, durable, and made from non-flammable materials, with an individual lighting button located above each passenger seat, and large, spacious overhead bins for carry-on luggage.
Onboard Service
Air Bishkek offers its passengers two classes of service:
“BUSINESS”
“ECONOMY”
The “BUSINESS” class provides individual service and a higher level of comfort on board for passengers seeking maximum convenience during the flight, at departure (arrival) airports.
Business class passengers fly in a separate cabin located at the front of the aircraft, served by highly qualified flight attendants.
Business class passengers receive an individual travel kit for a more comfortable flight. The kit includes:

Before the flight, fruit juices, mineral water, and alcoholic beverages are offered. During the flight, passengers can choose from a menu of delicious hot dishes and snacks, served with exquisite presentation.
If you are traveling business class on flights from Bishkek, after reaching cruising altitude, flight attendants will offer you an Apple iPad 2 and individual headphones.
The program is updated monthly and includes over 50 films from foreign and domestic production, including the latest movie releases, series, TV shows, cartoons, news, sports and automotive segments, music videos, music, audiobooks, and popular games.
The manufacturer “Airbus” equips the aircraft with a special curtain (soft partition) separating the Business class cabin from the Economy class cabin.
The number of seats in the Business class cabin depends on the specific aircraft configuration and can range from 8 to 12.
The “ECONOMY” class is designed for passengers focused on maximum affordability of transportation, allowing for a comfortable flight at accessible rates. The Economy class cabin is located behind the Business class cabin. Passenger seating is arranged in the passenger cabin with standard seats.

The range of services provided on board the aircraft also includes meals. The menu is regularly updated: passengers are offered a variety of snacks, main courses, and desserts from Kyrgyz and European cuisine.
Depending on the time of day and flight duration, we offer a full breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
“BUSINESS” class
Exquisite dishes are served on porcelain dishes, with linen napkins and metal cutlery. As is known, delicious food begins with exquisite presentation.
In-flight meal options are developed specifically for each flight direction and change twice a year, in accordance with winter or summer navigation.
Additionally, throughout the flight, at the passengers' request, soft drinks, mineral water (with or without gas), a selection of juices, tea, coffee, and a wide range of alcoholic beverages are provided.
“ECONOMY” class
In-flight, Economy class passengers will be offered meal options depending on the duration and direction of the flight, as well as the time of day:
Cold or hot lunch, hot breakfast, or sandwich.
Soft drinks, juices, tea, coffee, dessert.
The range of onboard meals changes twice a year, in accordance with winter or summer navigation.
Children's Menu
For children traveling with parents, special children's meals are now provided on flights departing from Bishkek, called the "Children's Menu."
The children's meals on board are designed with the tastes and needs of young passengers in mind. The meals include soft, easily chewable food, easily identifiable products, various fruit and cheese desserts, nut assortments, crackers, juice, meat and fish dishes, as well as dairy products.
All children's meals on board contain the necessary vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients essential for a young growing body.
