In an interview with Kaktus.media, she stated that the district electoral commission decided to annul the voting results at polling stations No. 5249 and No. 5514 without notifying the candidates themselves.
The candidate explained: "The reason for this was a video about bribing voters, although it was filmed not in our district, but in district No. 27 in Issyk-Kul. Deputy of the VII convocation Zhanibek Kydykbaev published this video on his social media pages."
She also noted that the chairman of the district commission reported receiving a decree from the police. Law enforcement agencies stated that they simply informed the DEC about the appearance of this video, which allegedly was filmed in district No. 8, but no criminal case was initiated as no violations were found.
“Nevertheless, the district electoral commission annulled the voting results without any grounds, as a result of which I lost 1,009 votes and third place. It is clear that the main goal is to prevent me from entering parliament. In this case, the deputy will be the niece of the chairman of the CEC, Tynchtyk Shainazarov, Nurzhamal Torobekova,” Joldoshova expressed her opinion.
She confirmed that on November 28 and 29, there was voter bribery in district No. 8, opponents were distributing significant sums of money, but her appeals regarding these facts were not considered by the DEC.“However, on November 30, no one was distributing money. The video referred to by the district commission was filmed on that very day. Why should I suffer because of a video from the 27th district? No one can answer this question. I earned those votes through my honest work! I had to work hard, meeting with each voter! The district commission acted secretly, and no one knew what was happening. We were not notified. They grossly violated the law,” the candidate summarized.
According to her, the working group of the CEC has not yet considered the decision of the district electoral commission.
“I hope that the CEC will make a decision based on the law. Shainazarov should not put his interests above the interests of the state,” she added.
Kaktus.media sent a request to the head of the CEC regarding Joldoshova's statement. It is worth reminding that according to the preliminary results of the voting, after processing 100% of the data from the automated management system and remote voting, the following candidates who received the most votes are entering the Jogorku Kenesh from electoral district No. 8:
