Gasification and Water Supply in the City of Kara-Balta

GASIFICATION

Kara-Balta Gas Area

The gas office was opened in October 1964, headed by Mikhail Dmitrievich Zhadan. Exactly 10 years later, a special building was constructed, where the gas office is located to this day.

In the 1980s, the office supplied the population with only liquefied gas at a rate of 30 tons daily. Natural gas began to flow into the city in 1982.

Multi-apartment buildings and industrial enterprises were gasified: the carpet factory, the flour mill, "Bakay," and the brewery.

Two secondary schools were switched to gas heating.

In 1998, the gas sector underwent restructuring, resulting in the formation of two bases: one for natural gas and one for liquefied gas.
