Snow and ice on the Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart highway: Drivers are urged to exercise caution

In the Naryn region, snowfall continues, and road conditions have significantly worsened, reports the Traffic Safety Department of the Naryn Regional Internal Affairs Directorate. According to the agency, snowfall is observed in the Kuaqy, Dolon, Kyzyl-Bel, and Kyzart passes, which has led to the formation of slippery roads on the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart highway. Drivers of freight vehicles are ignoring the need to install anti-skid chains, causing traffic jams on the road.
