One local resident told "Reporter" that due to the strong wind on the night of November 26, the cladding of a building on Abay Street fell onto parked cars. Additionally, the wind damaged a flag installed at the National Historical Museum.
Meteorologists explained that currently, Kyrgyzstan is located on the southwestern border of an anticyclone, which is causing these windy conditions.
A wind speed of 15 m/s is classified as strong and can cause damage. At such gusts, it is difficult to withstand the flow, the hum of telegraph wires can be heard, and strong gusts can tear off roofs from buildings or uproot small trees.
