Over the next week, no precipitation is forecasted in Kyrgyzstan, and the wind will blow from the southeast at a speed of 5-10 m/s, reports AKIpress, citing meteorologists from Kyrgyzhydromet.

Warming is expected in the coming days.

“A low-gradient field of high pressure will form over Kyrgyzstan. A pronounced ridge will be observed across the country, leading to warm weather,” the specialists explained.

Meteorologists also noted that such warm conditions in January are not unprecedented—similar phenomena were recorded last year as well.

Note: A low-gradient field of high pressure is an area in the atmosphere with high atmospheric pressure, where the pressure gradient (change in pressure per unit distance) is minimal. Such conditions lead to light winds and stable weather, often with clear skies, as the air descends, suppressing cloud formation and precipitation. These fields are typically characteristic of the peripheral areas of anticyclones or during the transition of synoptic processes, providing calm weather conditions.
