The physical volume index in November 2025 was 33.3%, while a year earlier it exceeded 100%.
However, from January to November 2025, the industry shows positive results in monetary terms. Over 11 months, the total production volume of tobacco products amounted to 28 million 319.3 thousand soms, which is an increase compared to the same period in 2024 (16 million 211.8 thousand soms).
Nevertheless, the physical volume index for January–November 2025 was 99.4%, indicating stagnation in real terms and significantly lower than last year (165.5%). This may indicate a mismatch in production volumes throughout the year and a decrease in output at the end of the reporting period.
