The first participants in the initiative regarding the situation in Gaza were announced in Davos.
At the economic forum in Davos, U.S. President Donald Trump introduced the first members of his new initiative, called the "Council of Peace."
On stage were high-profile representatives from 19 countries who became the founders of this group under Trump's leadership.
Among those present were delegates from Bahrain, Morocco, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, and Mongolia.
As noted by the Financial Times, there were no leaders from Western Europe on stage.
It is expected that the composition of the Council of Peace will be supplemented by new world leaders in the future. The initiative was initially planned as part of a program to restore Gaza, but its goals have been expanded.
