
In his speech to the diplomatic corps, Kulubaev noted that in the past year, the Kyrgyz Republic actively developed its international relations. In particular, there were 190 meetings at various levels, and 633 international agreements were signed. The diplomatic geography of the country has also expanded — Kyrgyzstan now cooperates with 185 states, and the first embassy of the republic has opened in Africa.
Regarding plans for 2026, the minister emphasized the importance of Kyrgyzstan's upcoming chairmanship in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the anniversary summit that will take place in Bishkek. Additionally, the republic will host the Sixth World Nomad Games and the Issyk-Kul International Forum named after Chinghiz Aitmatov.
In his welcoming speech, Jeenbek Kulubaev expressed gratitude to the diplomats for their contribution to strengthening ties with Kyrgyzstan. He noted that despite global instability, the republic continues to be a reliable and open partner, committed to constructive dialogue for achieving peace and sustainable development.
