
Projects currently being implemented in the country were discussed
On January 26, the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, held a meeting with Najy Benhassine, the regional director of the World Bank responsible for Central Asia.
During this dialogue, the parties discussed issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the World Bank, as reported by the ministry.
Sydykov shared relevant information about the state of the country's economy, noting that in recent years there has been a positive trend due to a comprehensive approach to the development of key economic sectors.
The main focus was on current projects funded by the World Bank, as well as future steps to deepen and expand cooperation.
Najy Benhassine, for his part, confirmed the World Bank's readiness to continue joint work with the Kyrgyz side and noted the positive dynamics of economic growth.
At the end of the meeting, both parties expressed their intention to continue active efforts to implement previously reached agreements.
