On January 27, Adylbek Kasymaliev held a meeting with Najy Benhassine, the regional director of the World Bank for Central Asia. During the meeting, important aspects of bilateral partnership were discussed, as well as the progress of key joint projects. The press service of the Cabinet noted that budget support and significant legislative reforms were also discussed.

The parties thoroughly reviewed plans for the current year and the medium-term prospects for cooperation.

Najy Benhassine highly appreciated Kyrgyzstan's efforts in fiscal policy and noted that the ongoing reforms contribute to the formation of a positive economic situation. "Creating new jobs and improving the living standards of citizens is the foundation of sustainable growth. The World Bank is ready to provide full support in areas of mutual interest," he emphasized.

At the end of his visit, Benhassine confirmed that the World Bank is ready to be a reliable partner for Kyrgyzstan in implementing its ambitious development programs.
