The deputy proposed to extend the taxi licensing period, as only 7,500 out of 70,000 taxi drivers in Bishkek have received licenses.
He noted that the current license validity period expires on February 1, 2026.

Bekeshev emphasized that if the licensing period is not extended, it could lead to an increase in unemployment and a rise in taxi prices.
