Dastan Jumabekov, speaking at this meeting, emphasized that Kyrgyz citizens working in Russia in the business sector are facing serious difficulties.
He noted that the restrictions have affected the textile industry, in particular, goods worth millions of dollars that are stuck at the border and cannot be imported or returned. "I urge you to reach out to the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the Chairwoman of the Federation Council Valentina Matviyenko with a request to initiate a visit to Russia to discuss this situation. Citizens are constantly filing complaints. Parliament must also take measures to address them," he said, addressing the speaker.
Turgunbek uulu reported that he has already received an official invitation from Matviyenko and Volodin, and the visit is scheduled for the third decade of March.
The speaker confirmed that important issues concerning Kyrgyz citizens in Russia will be discussed during this visit.
