The majority of the examinations, namely 66%, were conducted by the central office; however, there is also a noticeable increase in the activity of regional divisions, especially the Southern Department.
FES experts conducted 6,285 studies, of which about 88% fall into the category of complex and medium complexity. This indicates a significant increase in the quality of primary examinations, while the number of repeated and additional studies has decreased, indicating an improvement in the quality of expert conclusions.
The most active were the divisions engaged in forensic automotive, forensic, linguistic, religious studies, as well as forensic ballistic, traceological, and explosive technical examinations.
More than 80% of all appointments come from internal affairs bodies, highlighting the importance of interaction between FES and the courts, prosecutor's office, State National Security Committee, and other state structures.
By regions, the largest number of examinations were appointed in Bishkek, as well as in Chui and Osh regions.
In 2025, the Service also continued to provide paid expert services, with total revenue amounting to 14,008,763 soms. This is almost twice as much as in 2024.
The increase in both the number and complexity of examinations, along with the expansion of the range of studies and the development of paid services, indicates the growing workload on the Forensic Expert Service and its successful organization of work.
