According to him, the cost of one project plan varies from 15 to 20 dollars per square meter. Considering that architects work with areas of 1,000 to 2,000 square meters, the earnings become significant. Before the establishment of the Department of Architecture, which united the best specialists, projects were approved in 54 regional offices, where private companies made profits, and deputies requested assistance in project development.
Imanakun uulu cited the example of N. Ch., who earned 477,368 soms for conducting topographic surveys over 4,823 hectares, adding that not everyone is capable of performing such work. He emphasized that only architects and technologists involved in the construction of medical facilities have high earnings. There are only eight such specialists in the country, and the department needs to consider their needs.
Out of 2,281 employees of the ministry, only 45 receive their salaries from the state budget. The remaining 2,236 individuals finance their activities independently and pay taxes. Over the past year, the department collected 68 million soms in taxes. The deputy minister also noted that his own salary is 64,000 soms, the salary of the staff specialists is 45,000 soms, and the chief specialist earns 80,000 soms.
In response to the remark by Deputy Kunduzbek Suimanov that students of the State Medical Academy study for nine years but receive lower salaries, Imanakun uulu pointed out that incomes in private clinics are indeed higher, but this does not apply to the public sector. The deputy clarified that comparing the duration of studies in this case is inappropriate.
Furthermore, Imanakun uulu added that N. Ch. had not received a salary for four months, as payments are made upon completion of orders, and the process of drafting plans can take six months or even a year. If the earnings are distributed over the year, it amounts to 180,000 to 200,000 soms.
