At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Finance, Budget, Entrepreneurship, and Competition on February 2, Tokonov reported that 24 objects were included in the privatization program, of which four have already been sold:

The total amount from sales at electronic auctions amounted to 15 billion 41 million 580 thousand 339 soms.

According to the director, three objects have been transformed into open joint-stock companies with full state ownership and continue their activities:

Deputy Bekeshev asked why the report lacks information about the sale of "Keremet Bank".

Tokonov replied that he would provide the data in written form.

The deputy noted that the report should be complete: "The National Bank transferred the bank to the government, and if it was sold, at what price? The National Bank valued it at 8 billion soms, and the government could not sell it for less than this amount. What are the revenues to the budget?"

Tokonov clarified that the state owns 0.74% of "Keremet Bank".

He added that the sale process is ongoing, and the full amount has not yet been received.

Bekeshev expressed dissatisfaction: "The situation around this issue raises questions. If we are selling such assets, we should be getting some benefit." He also inquired about the state's share in the "Eurasian Savings Bank".

To this, Tokonov responded negatively.
