In response to requests from parliamentarians, the government clarified its position
At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, the First Deputy Prime Minister Daniyar Amangeldiev stated that re-legalization of cars registered abroad is not planned.
He noted that citizens were previously given sufficient time to complete the legalization process.
"The state has done everything possible: deadlines were extended, additional windows were opened in public service centers. Nevertheless, many citizens showed irresponsibility in this matter. There are no possibilities for restarting the program," he added.
Deputies reported that they are receiving inquiries from citizens regarding the legalization of cars.
