Biographical Information
- Erkin Bozhokoevich Toktomambetov received his higher legal education at the Kyrgyz State University named after the 50th Anniversary of the USSR from 1985 to 1990. He began his career in 1982 at a instrumentation plant in Bishkek, where he worked as a laborer and driver until 1985.
- From 1990 to 1992, he was an intern-investigator at the prosecutor's office of the Lenin District of the capital, which provided him with valuable experience in investigative and prosecutorial activities.
- In 1992-1993, he worked as a prosecutor in the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, and then, in 1993, became the deputy prosecutor of the Alamudun District in the Chui Region.
- From 1993 to 1994, he held the position of assistant to the chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Kyrgyz Republic, and in 1995 became the head of its department.
- From 1994 to 1996, Toktomambetov worked in international and commercial organizations, including the international center "Kyrgyzstan - Germany - Europe" and in cooperation with the Hong Kong bank "Henfen-LTD".
