Kyrgyzstan and the EU held the 7th meeting of the Cooperation Development Subcommittee

On February 6, the seventh meeting of the subcommittee on cooperation with the European Union took place in Kyrgyzstan at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Kyrgyz delegation was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov, while from the European side, Charlotte Adrien, head of the Central Asia and Afghanistan department in the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (INTPA) of the European Commission, was present.

Charlotte Adrien emphasized the positive achievements within the Global Gateway initiative, particularly highlighting the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the European Investment Bank in the field of energy.

The parties exchanged constructive views on issues of bilateral and regional cooperation and outlined key areas for further strengthening and enhancing the effectiveness of interaction on mutual interests.
