According to the Eurasian Economic Commission data for February 2026, there are 27 anti-dumping measures in place within the EAEU concerning goods from 10 countries.

Most of these measures (18) target products coming from China. Other supplier countries include Malaysia, Turkey, Ukraine, Georgia, Azerbaijan, India, Uzbekistan, and Japan.

The register of the EEC predominantly features measures related to goods from the heavy and chemical industries. Some of these have been in effect since 2011, while others were introduced between 2020 and 2023. The duration of these restrictions varies from 5 to 16 years.

“The aggressive pricing policy of foreign manufacturers poses a threat to local markets. In response, the EAEU is implementing anti-dumping measures,

which ensure equal conditions for competition and protect national producers within the union,

providing protection worth approximately $20 billion in the market of five countries and preserving 50,000 jobs across more than 120 enterprises,”

- Andrey Zakharov, Director of the Department for the Protection of the Domestic Market of the EEC

Anti-dumping measures are a set of administrative and economic tools aimed at protecting competition and domestic producers from unfair price undercutting (dumping).

These include the introduction of special duties, temporary measures, pricing commitments from exporters, increased contract securities, and other restrictions in the event of a sharp price drop (typically by 25% or more).

On the international stage, such measures are employed by states to protect their domestic economy from the import of goods at prices below their normal value.
