The official announced reforms in the higher education system
In Kyrgyzstan, a review of curricula in universities will begin with the aim of excluding outdated and ineffective subjects. This was announced by Edil Baisalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovation.
According to Baisalov, the establishment of the new ministry was an important step towards comprehensive modernization of higher education and the scientific sector. The main task of the agency will be to transform universities into centers capable of attracting talent, providing relevant knowledge, and serving as a driving force for the country's long-term development.
Particular attention in the review of educational programs will be given to those areas that are most in demand in the economy.
