- On February 12, 2026, a new decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers regarding the resolution dated December 22, 2025, No. 816 "On measures to ensure food security and stabilize market prices in the Kyrgyz Republic."

In accordance with the changes, for a period of one year, operations related to the supply and import of potatoes and onions produced by agricultural producers operating in the territory of Kyrgyzstan are exempt from value-added tax.

This benefit applies to products corresponding to certain commodity codes of the Customs Union and is implemented using a zero VAT rate for both domestic supplies and imports.

Additionally, provisions concerning tax benefits and the zero VAT rate for certain imported goods, which were previously provided, have been excluded from the updated document.

The resolution will come into effect seven days after its official publication.
