The project of an alternative road from Issyk-Kul to Almaty and the modernization of border crossing points and bridges between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan were also considered.

Furthermore, the heads of the foreign policy agencies discussed the current state of bilateral cooperation in areas such as political, trade-economic, water-energy, and cultural-humanitarian spheres. The ministers noted the need to enhance interregional cooperation, especially in agriculture and industrial cooperation, emphasizing the significant unrealized potential.

Additionally, issues of strengthening cooperation on multilateral platforms were discussed. The parties confirmed the similarity of their positions on important regional issues and expressed their readiness to support each other within international organizations.
