Support from the president by the former deputy
Iskhak Masaliev, a former deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, expressed his opinion on the need to review high-profile cases investigated by the GKNB in recent years. He published the corresponding message on his social media.
According to Masaliev, recent changes in the personnel composition and structure of power, including those that occurred in the GKNB, show positive dynamics, especially in terms of strengthening the agency's relevant powers.
The president has been tasked with determining which law enforcement agency will be prioritized in the fight against corruption.
To restore law and order and regain the trust of citizens, the former deputy proposed conducting a re-examination of the high-profile criminal cases investigated by the GKNB over the past five years.
"The results may be unexpected; however, this step is extremely important for both the people and the president," Masaliev noted.
