At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Industry and Transport on February 17, Deputy Bakhridin Shabazov expressed dissatisfaction with the insufficient activity of the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

He repeatedly raised the issue of constructing a bridge in the village of Sary-Jon and the Kant - Bishkek road, but did not receive satisfactory answers.

The deputy asked the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Transport, Beknazar Bazaraliev, whether information about the problems reaches the president's representatives.

The deputy minister explained that the bridge project is complete and that they are currently searching for a construction company.

He also added that work on the Bishkek - Kant road is scheduled for next year.

Bazaraliev noted: "This year, all efforts will be focused on the Northern and Eastern bypass roads. As soon as they are completed, we will move on to the Kant - Bishkek route."

In response, Shabazov stated that at the very least, pothole repairs need to be carried out, as residents are dissatisfied with the condition of the road.

Additionally, Bazaraliev reported that the construction of the entrance to the village of Milyanfan is planned to begin this year, but the budget for capital investments needs to be approved by the Ministry of Finance.

"As for the entrance to Milyanfan, we have fulfilled your request regarding the land plots. It was difficult to find the owners, but we convinced them that this is necessary for the village and the people. The issue has been resolved, but we have been facing delays for the third year now. How do we explain this to our voters? We are just 'chasing the wind.' Furthermore, the information about capital investments does not correspond to reality — the budget has already been approved," Shabazov concluded.
