Digitalization is a priority for the new Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh
At today's plenary session of the Jogorku Kenesh, Marlen Mamataliyev, appointed as Speaker last week, outlined his plans for modernizing the work of the parliament.
He noted that one of the key initiatives will be the transition to digital technologies — deputies will be provided with tablets, and interaction with citizens and the Cabinet of Ministers will be partially moved online. In addition, public reception offices for the population are planned to be opened in the parliament building.
According to Mamataliyev, the implementation of such innovations will significantly optimize work processes, speed up decision-making, and make the parliament more accessible to society.
This is the first plenary session of the new Speaker, at which he decided to immediately present the directions of his work.
