Bishkek is developing its potential through a multi-vector approach
On February 17, a presentation of the analysis titled "Communication Regimes of Post-Soviet Countries: Friendliness Ranking Towards Russia - 2025" took place in the presidential hall of the MIA "Russia Today".
Kyrgyzstan scored 70.7 points in this ranking.
Experts note that such a high result is positive, considering the multi-vector diplomacy that Bishkek conducts. In addition to Russia, Kyrgyzstan is actively developing ties with Turkey (in the fields of economy, humanitarian issues, and education), the European Union (in the areas of economy, infrastructure, and humanitarian projects), as well as with the USA and China.
At the same time, Kyrgyzstan interacts exclusively with Russia in all areas, including security, economy, education, migration, and scientific and humanitarian ties. Other countries are represented in several directions, but none cover such a wide range of cooperation as Russia. Kyrgyzstan, for its part, has not taken steps that could be perceived as a threat to Russia's interests and has shown restraint regarding sensitive topics.
This is also confirmed by Kyrgyzstan's active participation in international organizations such as the EAEU, CSTO, CIS, SCO, as well as through bilateral meetings of leaders, inter-parliamentary contacts, and exchanges in humanitarian and scientific fields. Both sides strive for an equal dialogue.
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are actively opening their markets to companies from the USA and Europe, which increases the attractiveness of the Central Asian region and will undoubtedly contribute to the integration of these players into the economy and politics of Kyrgyzstan.
Moreover, cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and China, as well as with European Union programs, is strengthening, which could serve as a basis for further interaction in areas such as industry, nuclear energy, and military-technical relations.
