
A significant event took place at the "Friendship" stele
At the point where the borders of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan converge, a meeting of border guards from these countries was held. The State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic informed about this important event that took place at the "Friendship" stele.
The meeting was organized on Sunday, February 15.
During the negotiations, the participants discussed key issues related to cross-border cooperation, improving communication mechanisms between border services, and coordinating actions to prevent incidents at the border.
Particular attention was paid to cooperation in carrying out various activities, such as engineering, economic, and spring field works in the border zone, as well as algorithms for rapid response to potential disputes.
Furthermore, the parties reached an agreement on the improvement of the area around the stele, the creation of access roads, and joint greening of the area using resources from each side.
The businesslike atmosphere of the negotiations demonstrated the countries' readiness to further strengthen borders, develop friendly relations, and maintain stability in border regions.
