The Prime Minister initiated this bill. The Deputy Chairman of the Committee on International Affairs, Defense, Security, and Migration of the Jogorku Kenesh, Yrysbek Atazhanov, presented information about it.
The main goal of this project is to fulfill the necessary internal procedures for the Fisheries Subsidies Agreement, adopted on June 17, 2022, at the 12th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization in Geneva, to come into force.
The ratification of this agreement underscores Kyrgyzstan's commitment to international obligations within the framework of the World Trade Organization, strengthens the country's position as a responsible participant in the global trading arena, and contributes to creating fairer and more transparent conditions in world trade.
