The draft law was initiated by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The amendments aim to address the shortcomings identified in law enforcement practice, as well as to clarify the terminology used in the Treaty on the Union. In addition, they grant the Eurasian Economic Commission the authority to approve the methodology for assessing obstacles in the EAEU internal market and to recognize barriers and restrictions as eliminated.
