This draft law was initiated by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers.
The Deputy Minister of Energy, Nasipbek Kerimov, emphasized that the main goal of the draft law is to create conditions that promote the development of renewable energy sources and attract investments. This will be achieved by increasing the capacity threshold for renewable energy facilities from 30 to 50 MW, which will allow for the implementation of more efficient, economically sustainable, and technologically advanced projects that meet international standards and the strategic goals of the country in the field of "green" economy and energy security.
