IOC closed the case against Infantino after meeting with Trump

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) confirmed that it does not intend to take any action against FIFA President Gianni Infantino following his participation in the launch of the humanitarian initiative "Board of Peace" with U.S. President Donald Trump.

His appearance at the event with the American president had previously sparked discussions in sports circles regarding a possible violation of the principle of political neutrality established by the Olympic Charter. However, after an internal investigation, the IOC concluded that Infantino's actions did not violate established rules.

As part of this initiative, FIFA intends to invest up to $75 million in the development of sports projects in the Gaza Strip. The IOC noted that such steps fully align with the organization's humanitarian mission and are aimed at supporting social infrastructure through football.

As a result, the case is officially closed. The IOC and FIFA will continue to cooperate in preparation for important sporting events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and planned international meetings in Milan.
