She noted that local residents have been demanding the construction of a reservoir for 15 years, yet the project has still not been realized.
According to the deputy, the presence of a reservoir could significantly ease the lives of farmers by providing them with water for irrigation, as well as contribute to business development and attract investments for the construction of small hydropower plants.
Akhmedova appealed to the government, the Ministry of Water Resources, and local authorities to expedite the resolution of this issue, conduct the necessary research, and secure funding for construction.
