In Kyrgyzstan, the standardization rules have been updated: What has changed in 2025?
On January 11, 2025, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic signed new laws "On Standardization" and "On Amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Technical Regulation in the Kyrgyz Republic."
To effectively implement the law "On Standardization," the Cabinet of Ministers developed three resolutions and three orders.
One significant moment was the order dated September 24, 2025, No. 829-t, which approved the Program for the Development of the National Standardization System for 2026–2030.
As part of interstate standardization, 23 drafts of GOST were prepared in the fourth quarter of 2025, 20 of which were approved by the protocols of the MGS. A total of 783 interstate standards were adopted that year, including 243 standards aligned with ISO/EN and 439 standards that meet the requirements of TR TS/EAEU.
In 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers also adopted resolutions that clarify the mechanisms for implementing technical regulations, define authorized state bodies, and establish the procedure for interagency cooperation.
According to the resolution dated February 28, 2023, No. 107, concerning the requirements for certification experts, 119 experts from 43 organizations received competence certificates in 2025. The registry of these experts was sent monthly to the Kyrgyz Accreditation Center.
A new traceability information system for certified "halal" (adal) products has been developed, which will be integrated with the interagency electronic system "Tunduk."
To unify the requirements for halal products and services within the EAEU, a draft Agreement on the Procedure for Recognizing Halal Products, Processes, and Services has been prepared and sent to the Eurasian Economic Commission for discussion with the EAEU member states.
