The United States has announced plans to destroy Iran's naval forces and missile infrastructure.
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced the start of a large-scale military operation against Iran. He emphasized that the goal of the US is the complete destruction of Iran's naval forces, its missile capabilities, and the dismantling of the country's missile industry.
According to reports from Iranian media, key facilities have already come under attack from the US and Israel, including the Ministry of Intelligence, the Ministry of Defense, the presidential palace, the residence of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, and the Iranian Atomic Energy Organization in Tehran.
The attacks also affected defense enterprises in Isfahan and Karaj, which are involved in the nuclear program. Explosions and fires have been reported in various regions of the country.
Tehran has prepared measures to respond. One high-ranking Iranian official told Reuters that the response would be devastating. An Israeli source, commenting on the situation on Channel 12, noted that intense joint strikes would continue for at least four days, adding that Tehran would change by the next day.
At the moment the bombings began, Trump addressed the Iranian people, urging them to overthrow the current government, claiming that this could be their only chance for many years.
The situation remains tense. International experts are monitoring the developments, warning of a possible escalation of the conflict in the region.
