The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country has made an official statement
In light of the deteriorating situation in the Middle East, Kyrgyzstan expresses serious concern. This is stated in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' statement.
The official message emphasizes that "Kyrgyzstan supports the unification of the international community's efforts for a peaceful resolution of the situation in the region, based on the principles of the UN Charter and international law. Kyrgyzstan calls on all parties to exercise the highest degree of restraint, to immediately cease military actions, and to take all possible steps to swiftly return to constructive dialogue in order to resolve the situation exclusively by peaceful means," the document states.
The Ministry also recommends that Kyrgyz citizens temporarily refrain from traveling to Iran until the situation stabilizes.
For Kyrgyz citizens who are currently in Iran, it is recommended to immediately contact the Kyrgyz representations in that country in case of emergencies.
