- In March, the Jogorku Kenesh plans to discuss a draft law that will allow no more than one amendment to be made to the codes within a year. This project has already been included in the parliament's work plan.

The initiative belongs to the Ministry of Justice, which noted in its report that "the introduction of a norm limiting the frequency of changes to the codes is an important step towards improving the stability and resilience of legal regulation in the country. This will help shape legislative practice aimed at long-term goals."

The proposed changes will affect 17 codes, including:

𑇐 Budget Code of the KR;

𑇐 Water Code of the KR;

𑇐 Air Code of the KR;

𑇐 Civil Code of the KR;

𑇐 Civil Procedure Code of the KR;

𑇐 Housing Code of the KR;

𑇐 Land Code of the KR;

𑇐 Code of the KR on Children;

𑇐 Code of the KR on Non-Tax Revenues;

𑇐 Code of the KR on Offenses;

𑇐 Forest Code of the KR;

𑇐 Family Code of the KR;

𑇐 Labor Code of the KR;

𑇐 Criminal Executive Code of the KR;

𑇐 Criminal Procedure Code of the KR;

𑇐 Criminal Code of the KR.

It is important to note that this restriction will not apply in cases where changes are made based on the instructions of the President of the KR or in accordance with the decisions of the Constitutional Court of the KR.
