The Cabinet extended the ban on the export of limestone-shell rock.
The ban, which will be in effect for six months, pertains to limestone and shell limestone extracted or produced on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. It includes both unprocessed and roughly crushed materials, as well as products cut into slabs or blocks of rectangular or square shape (EAEU HS codes 2515 11 000 0 and 2515 12 000 0).
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the country has been instructed to notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission within three days before the decree comes into force.
Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs must notify the Executive Committee of the CIS within the same timeframe. The State Customs Service and the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic are mandated to take measures to prevent the illegal export of the specified goods.
Furthermore, the new decree cancels the previous decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 3, 2025, No. 553, which imposed a similar ban.
The document will come into force seven days after its official publication.
