President of the company Almanbek Ismailov emphasized that previously 2 billion 600 million soms had been allocated. He also noted that despite the initiation of a criminal case on January 24, 2025, the joint-stock company continues its activities.
"When the Cabinet of Ministers established 'Kyrgyzindustry', it was planned to merge 16 state enterprises, but in the end, 63 limited liability companies were founded, of which 20-30 have already been liquidated," Ismailov stated.These words provoked the anger of Kamila Taliyeva. "You are questioning the actions of the former leadership. How would you feel if people started talking about you like this when you leave? I knew Zharasul Abdurayimov; he dedicated his life to production. He was a simple man who never resorted to theft. He was a true statesman. I am convinced that he became a victim of rumors. Yes, 2 billion soms were allocated, but this money helped restore 'Kyrgyzindustry'. This is worth mentioning, especially considering that he was detained based on slander, which ultimately led to his death. We are killing people with information warfare. We must speak the truth and remember history. So be careful with your statements," she addressed Ismailov.
It is worth reminding that in January 2022, the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) initiated a criminal case regarding corruption among responsible officials of the joint-stock company "Kyrgyzindustry". As claimed by the GKNB, "Kyrgyzindustry" was established in 2021, and from 2022 to 2024, more than 2.3 billion soms were allocated from the state budget. However, some company officials reportedly created a corruption scheme aimed at embezzling and misappropriating budget funds through subsidiaries.
The investigation established that more than 40 unprofitable enterprises were created and financed, the capital of which turned out to be irretrievable. Of the 75 employees of the joint-stock company, 33 held managerial positions, many of whom were appointed by relatives and acquaintances, receiving high salaries. Some of them simultaneously held positions in subsidiary companies and also received salaries.
As part of the criminal case, former president of the joint-stock company "Kyrgyzindustry" Zharasul Abdurayimov and vice president B.B. were detained and placed in the pre-trial detention center of the GKNB of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Unfortunately, on October 7, 2025, news of Abdurayimov's death became known.
