Leaders of military units and border divisions, the akim of the Leilek district, Zhenishbek Asylbek, as well as representatives of law enforcement and security agencies also participated in the discussion.
During the meeting, current work on the engineering arrangement of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border section was discussed, as well as measures to combat smuggling and an analysis of the current political situation in the world.
At the end of the meeting, participants identified specific recommendations for strengthening physical and engineering protection of the border, increasing the effectiveness of preventive actions, and updating the exchange of operational information between various units.
